From it’s direct competition to Google Chromecast. They also get it if it is working then you won’t be able to control your Android phone from your PC.

The Bottom Line: In the Connect app the Windows 10 is pretty limited. Then it does not work for all Android devices. Although, if you are simply looking to watch some movies, pictures or give presentations. In this case, the built-in Connect app in Windows 10 is not bad.

Working:

You have to Install the ApowerMirror. The Mirror&Control app on your Android smartphone or tablet and open it. Then install the Apowermirror PC suite on your PC. Next, open both of the software and connect your Android to your PC with a USB cable. After that, you can follow the instruction.  In the next step, you will have to enable USB Debugging from the Developer settings of your device.

Advantages: In this app, there is an on-screen watermark. So, let you completely control your Android screen from your PC. It can give you advanced options like screenshots and recordings and some others.

Disadvantages: Some of the app forces so that you can create a free account to use more features. But after 3 days of creating your account then the app will force you to pay $29.95 per year to use all features. In this case, they include screencasting as well. By using this app they also work on Wi-Fi, but that is not reliable to use.

The Bottom Line of the App: The Decent screencasting app with no watermark so that it has many useful features. When it comes with a price and that price is too high. Then we can’t recommend you with this app. Also, we do use the free version.

4. The Airdroid App:

The Airdroid app only works with Wi-Fi and Mobile Data. It includes that this is one of the best ways to cast your Android screen on any computer. This process is that until all the methods so we have seen are either paid. Now we have intrusive ads or it does not work reliably. Then Airdroid changes all that.

Working:

If you are using the screen mirroring feature so that it is hidden in the UI. That is how it works then download the Airdroid app from the Google Play Store and open it. In the next step, you can either create a new account or do tap on Skip. Also, the app will give you an IP address and type that in your computer browser. 5. The TeamViewer Host App:

This app works with Mobile Data.

In TeamViewer, it is a popular app to take remote access to your desktop computer. They can use the other app with another computer. Before this, I can tell you that you can take control of your Android on a PC. This app would not let you control the actual phone but you can still see the screen in real-time.

Working:

Here is a detailed guide but it is short so that you can just install the TeamViewer Host on your smartphone. You can Log in to your TeamViewer account. Then create one in the Sign-up section. In the next step, you have created and authenticated the account. Now go to login.teamviewer.com on your computer and sign in with the same credentials. Also, you will see the option to connect to the smartphone if it is connected to the Internet. Now you will get access to the mobile device on your computer.

Advantages: This app is free and it works with the internet from anywhere in the world. Also, the connection is secured with encryption. In this case, you don’t even have to install an app on the computer. This app also works with a web browser as well.

Disadvantages: This app does not let you control the actual device. They also let you transmit gestures and it shows up on the mobile device.

The Bottom Line of the app: You can use this app if you want an easy solution to get the Android screen on a computer. Then you can want to help the remote user with some settings. Now you can’t control your Android from your desktop.

This app works with the USB. The Scrcpy app is a new kid on the block that not only lets you mirror your Android screen to Pc. They also allow you to control it. Here are 3 things that separate Scrcpy from all the other apps on the list. This app is free. It works on every platform, and it needs a USB connection.

Working:

The Scrcpy App is not exactly an app so that if you can run from your computer with one-click. Then it uses a USB connection and ADB. You just have to follow these steps.

  • First of all, set up an ADB access on your computer and then extract it under the C:\adb command.
  • Then Download the latest zip file from Github and then extract it. With the same file, we also used it before the C:\adb command.
  • Now Connect your smartphone or tablet to your computer with a USB cable.
  • After that, open up a command prompt or terminal inside C:\adb and enter scrcpy.

Advantages: One of the advantages is that this app is free and had no ads. This app is also an open-source app then works on Windows, macOS, and Linux, low latency based. This app is the best of all to control your smartphone with no computer’s keyboard and mouse.

Disadvantages:  It is very hard to set up for non-geeks and they require a USB connection to work.

The Bottom Line of the app: In case, if you often use your smartphone along with the side of your computer. They are also familiar with ADB commands then Scrcpy is the best option for you. You can also compare it to all the other methods. Now, this was the fastest with no visible lag in the app.
