If you like to complete control of your Xbox One through a computer. Then you can choose Game Streaming from the Xbox One app Home section. You want the new model of the Xbox app on your tablet or Windows 10 PC to get game streaming to work. An alert appears on your Xbox One, saying that a game streaming session was initiated by a person. It means that you can’t stream a game to your computer and game on the console at the same time. However, when the game streaming, the Xbox One console also appears “in use” whenever the person streaming was in the room. These are the basic thing that you need to know while streaming your Xbox One games to Windows 10.
How To Connect A controller
Well, there are two types of controllers: Those with Wired or wireless. The latter shipped with the real Xbox One console and needs Microsoft’s Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows if you like to play without any physical connection. Alternatively, this controller needs a Micro USB to USB-A (or USB-C) male-to-male cable.
However, Controllers launched with the Xbox One S and the latest have a Bluetooth component you can just pair with a Windows 10 PC.
Well, you don’t want to specifically use an Xbox One controller — Xbox 360 controllers work well with streaming in Windows 10. Also, you can buy a wired Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller for a cheap price. PDP Afterglow, PDP Rock Candy, PowerA, or Thrustmaster all produce third-party offerings, cheaper than MS proprietary gamepads.
Windows 10 To Xbox
To stream the Xbox One to Windows 10, your computer wants to meet these minimum requirements:
- CPU: Dual-core or better at 1.5GHz or greater.
- RAM: 4GB or more.
- Network: Wired, or 802.11n or newer.
- Visit Microsoft Account then Sign in.
- Then choose Connection listed on the left.
- Tap Add a Device located at the top of the app.
- The app looks for an Xbox console on the local network. Then choose the console to move on. If it doesn’t appear, input the console’s IP address and tap the Connect button. You can also look for the address by heading to the following path on the console: Settings > General > Network Settings > Advanced Settings
- Tap the Connect button located next to (or below) your listed console.
- When both devices paired successfully. Tap the Stream button right above your console. You might want to tap Test Streaming first to view if there are any problems before moving into a game
Now the Xbox console is successfully streaming to Windows 10, there are some options available in the overlay that appears after moving the mouse pointer over the stream.
This icon is located at the right. Tap it to view a drop-down menu with 4 modes: High, Very High, Medium, and Low. Use the menu to instantly modify quality modes when the stream suffers high latency.
This icon seems like a bulleted list. Just tap it, and an overlay appears under it showing the recent bandwidth in Average, Last, and Maximum measurements.
The microphone turns on or off the app’s connection to the computer’s microphone. Tap the big X to stop streaming, or tap the Xbox logo to move to the Xbox console’s home screen.

Getting Best Out Of Wired Or Wireless: Which One Is Good?
The real Xbox One console provides a dual-band 802.11n component and can plug into the 5GHz band or 2.4GHz.
The 2.4GHz band is best for carrying thick or walls objects, but it’s also the default wireless connection for lots of other devices in your home. However, the brand is not only crowded. It’s also incapable of reaching its maximum speed i.e 144Mbps.
The option 5GHz makes for the best connection as it’s less crowded and offers speeds very fast. The other side is that this band has a tough time carrying thick objects, so its reach is narrow. Its maximum speed is 300Mbps.
Also, the Xbox One X or Xbox One S consoles provide a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) component. The maximum speeds are 400Mbps on the 2.4GHz or 867Mbps on the 5GHz band
In all situations, the local environment is the major influence on the connection speed between the router or Xbox One. Also, in the wireless connection between the Windows 10 or router device. So the physical connection of both devices is extremely important.
For the best performance achieved using Ethernet cables. Well, it’s not the best connection, we know, especially if you like to stream Xbox One games. However, the console sits in your living room and you play games in another room. However, you’ll achieve the maximum bandwidth in switching for cables hanging from devices and executing with baseboards.
Powerline adapters are a brilliant option for older Ethernet cables. If you don’t like to do a long cable execute through, your home PowerLine is the best choice. Well, PowerLine can pass or move data from your console to your computer.
You can also buy PowerLine devices in pairs, and every device has a pass-through outlet. So it means you don’t need to sacrifice an electrical outlet.
