Different Ways To Find IP Address Of Windows 10

Are you looking to find the IP address of Windows 10? Your PC’s IP address (Internet Protocol) is an address that provides an identity for your mobile device on a network. Whether it is a local network within an intranet at a business, your home, or a huge network like the Internet. Whenever you visit a website on the Internet it uses a unique IP address, too. But hopefully, we use simple names such as Microsoft.com using DNS.

Why would you like to know your IP address, though? Well, we live in a world where we are surrounded by many devices that want to communicate or interact with each other. Whether it is connecting two PCs together in a P2P fashion for sharing resources or to access another device remotely. Also, if you want to fix devices on a network, knowing your IP Address can help a lot.

  • Then choose the Ethernet Connected icon. Move down to the Properties section and you’ll then view the information of IPV4 address.
  • Searching your Wi-Fi IP address is quite different. You still move to Settings > Network & Internet, but then choose Advanced options. Then move down to the Properties section to check the IP address of the device.
