However, the color wheel permits you to choose both saturation and value with just one tap. Follow this simple steps tutorial to activate the color wheel.
1. Head to the General Preferences
- First of all, you have to launch Photoshop. Next, you have to find the Edit menu at the top.
- Here you choose the Preferences from the dropdown menu and then go to General.
- If you are preferring using Photoshop keyboard shortcuts for a smoother workflow, so then you can also press Ctrl+K/Cmd+K.
2. Choose the Size
In case you are curious about the different sizes. Although in a recently appeared window find the “HUD Color Picker” scroll-down menu. You will view the Hue Strip and Hue Wheel options. The color wheel comes in 4 different sizes: such as standard, small, medium, and large. Simply now you select the one that suits you the most.
If I tell you my experience then, I find the small one the most convenient, as it does not take up much space in the working area, and won’t obstruct your image. Now tap OK to save conversions.
3. Finished! Now Bring Up the Color Wheel

And now you all have to do now is bring it up on the screen by using the Alt + Shift + Right mouse click/ Control + Opt + Cmd + Right mouse click key combinations.
