On Mac Use the Windows PC Keyboard by Remapping Command & Option Keys
Well, the Macs can use almost all keyboards that are simply built for Windows PC. - Simply pull down the Apple menu and select “System Preferences”
- Tap on “Keyboard”
- Select the “Keyboard” tab. And then tap on the “Modifier Keys” button in the lower right corner of the preference panel
- Select the PC keyboard from the “Select Keyboard” scrolldown menu at the top of the Modifier keys screen. Just to ensure that you guys are modifying the suitable keyboard connected to the Mac
- Tap the scroll down next to “OPTION Key” and choose “Command”
- Now tap the scrolldown next to “COMMAND Key” and choose “Option”
- Just tap “OK” & also test out the newly remapped keyboard keys *
