Ways to subscribe to websites with Safari Shared Links for iOS:

1: First of all, you have to open Safari on your iOS device.

2: You have to Navigate to a website that you would like to subscribe to.

3: Now, Tap on any article.

4: Then Long-tap Safari’s Bookmarks button.

5: You will choose the Add to Shared Links in the menu. Now, you will be prompted that this will add articles from the website to Shared Links. This is as seen on the screenshot below.

Tip: Then you must be on an actual article page, not on the homepage. This is for the handy shortcut to work.

Now, You can also navigate to an article and then select Add to Shared Links from the Share menu. After that, you can confirm it by tapping Add to Shared Links, though long-tapping the bookmarks icon is quicker.

This is already mentioned that you cannot add a website to Shared Links directly from its homepage. Then you can long-tap on the Safari’s Bookmarks button, or through the Share menu. Apart from this, it is in your Safari bookmarks tap on the Shared Links button (@) then hit Subscriptions. You can also choose Add Current Site at the bottom of the interface.

Then remove the RSS feeds you have subscribed to and choose Subscriptions. Now, tap on the minus sign, or click the X sign in Safari for Mac. Then locate the next button to add the item you wish to remove from Shared Links.

1: You have to open Safari on your Mac.

2: Then you have to Navigate to a website that you would like to subscribe to.

3: Now, click on the Share button in Safari’s toolbar. Then choose the Add Website to Shared Links, then confirm by clicking Add.

Tip: You can Unlike in Safari for iOS by adding websites to Shared Links in Safari for Mac. This also works from both the homepage and article pages.

Now, you can also add a website to Shared Links by clicking Safari’s Sidebar button in the toolbar. In the next step, you have to click on the Shared Links button (@) and then hit the Subscriptions button. You can found it at the bottom of the interface. The list of RSS feeds and links shared by your contacts on Twitter and LinkedIn appears. So, you can also click the Add Feed button located at the bottom of the Feeds section.

So, Safari will also offer to add the website that you are currently browsing to your Shared Links. Now, click on the Add Feed button to finish, or click Cancel to decline the subscription.

Then You shall now start receiving articles from the website in Shared Links. In this case, if you don’t see the option to add a website to Shared Links in Safari on your iOS device or Mac. Then the page you are viewing does not offer a feed you can subscribe to.

Also, on the Mac, you can also search your Shared Links by entering text in the search field above the list of links. Then you may have to scroll up to see the search field. This is by searching shared Links that aren’t supported in Safari for iOS.
