Leaving the Domain or log into your local account

  • First Log into your local account while your computer is joined to a Domain.
  • Then sign out of your machine at the sign-in screen, select “Other” user.
  • Similarly, now you have to enter the machine name follow by a backslash. So then your local user account as shown below.

Therefore, to leave the Domain, sign in to your Local Account,

  • First press Start > Settings > System > About.
  • So then choose Disconnect from the organization.

Note, when you join a domain, you might need to turn your password on the first login.
