So, Instagram also adds the options to upload Live Photos shot on Stories. You can also turn them into Boomerangs all this is within the app. Now, the only limitation at present time is that Live Photos can only be used in your stories. This is not on your main Instagram feed. However, this may change in the future. Now, this will also show you how to turn your Live Photos into Boomerangs in your Instagram stories.

The very First and foremost is that you must have Live Photos available on your device to upload them. Now the Live Photos have to be available in your Camera roll as Instagram. It won’t let you shoot a Live Photo directly from the app itself. It is just because of the time limitation put on what can be uploaded to your Instagram stories. Now, on your Live Photos, this also has to be shot within the last 24 hours. This is also visible in the image picker.

About Live Photos:

So, the Live Photos have been around for a while now. Then other than looking cool, it does not have many uses, at least not for me. If you can upload live photos to Facebook and Twitter. Then there is no such option for Instagram stories. Now, you can’t even share the photos as Live Photos with your friends. In case, if they don’t have an iPhone then it is also converted to a standard JPEG file.

Although, there are always workarounds to get our way. Now, I was looking for a way to post Live Photos on Instagram Story. So, let’s have a look.

Ways to Upload Live Photos into Boomerangs in Instagram stories:

1) First of all, you have to launch the Instagram app. Then tap on the Camera icon that is available in the upper left corner to create a new story.

2) After that, swipe up on the screen to reveal photos from your camera roll. Now, they are also eligible to be uploaded to your story.

3) Then select the Live Photos if you want to upload them to your story.

4) When your photo is load into the editor, 3D Touch on the screen. You just have to press this firmly with a finger. Now, You will also see a loading wheel appear on the screen briefly. Now, the word Boomerang flash. So, This is all about it. Then you have created a Boomerang based on your Live Photo.

5) You can also proceed to annotate the animated GIF. Then share it with your story as you would with any other photo or video.

Then I am not entirely certain about this. This also seems that the Boomerang will capture a fraction of a second. So, before and after the moment you actually took the shot. Now, for best effects, you will definitely have to time the shot of your Live Photo right.

How to Share Photos on Instagram from iPhone:

Step #1. First of all, you have to open the Photos App.

Step #2. Then Tap the Albums located bottom strip, or on the number three icon.

Step #3. You have to scroll down the screen for Media Types List and Tap Live Photos. Now, on the screen, you can use the All Live Photos that you’ve capture.

Step #4. Then open a Live Photos that you would like to post on Instagram.

Step #5. So, tap on the Share icon that you can see bottom-left side corner.

Step #6. Then find and Tap the Instagram App.

Step #7. Then Write a Caption like say something about your Live picture. After that, mention hashtag in-text arear.

In case, if you do not find Instagram App, then swipe the Apps row to the left side and then Tap on the More option. You have to Tap on the Edit then Scroll the screen under the Suggestions heading. So, Tap on the (+) Green button next to Instagram, and then Tap on Done to Save your Change. Then you can see the Instagram App.
